Rose Colored Glasses See Through The Most Troubled Hearts

Image
Book - Rose Colored Glasses See Through The Most Troubled Hearts Author - Caleb Thornton My Thoughts - Rose Colored Glasses See Through The Most Troubled Hearts is a romantic story in which the author has depicted that there could be complications in the relationships but standing by our partner's side in difficult times or his bad habits is what makes the relationship work.  After reading this book, I realized that there could be some bad habits in your partner but that doesn't mean we should leave our partner. The two characters Juan and Mikey are the center of this story. They fell in love but will their relationship last longer? Overall, I enjoyed this book and I would recommend it to those who love reading romantic stories. LGBTQ stories lover, this one will steal your heart. Great plot with unique characters. I am definitely interested in reading more short stories by the author, especially of the romance genre.  My Rating - 4.5/5

The Glass Angel

Image
The Glass Angel by Christina Foxwell Review: This is the story of the author who was abused by a family member in her childhood. She felt guilty and didn't forgive herself for years. During her healing journey, Christina realised rebuilding trust in herself and also rebuilding connection with courage and trust is possible. I was glad to know that Christina came to a point in her life when she realised that she is good enough. The valuable knowledge that the author has shared in this book from her experiences would be so much helpful to others in their life.  This engaging book is a gem. If you are looking for peace for yourself or if you want to help someone else in living a peaceful life then don't wait to read this book. This book will show light to many people who are stuck. Read this memoir. I am sure you would thank me later for recommending this book to you. Rating: 5/5

Cradles of the Reich by Jennifer Coburn

Image
Cradles of the Reich by Jennifer Coburn Review: Jennifer's 'Cradles of the Reich' takes the readers back to the dark period of history. This story alternates between the three women. Readers will get to know about the Nazi breeding program history. Readers would find that all the three women have very different views and come from different backgrounds. I could bet most of you won't be aware of this part of World War two. The most impressive thing about this book is the wide research by the author. Jennifer has done mind-blowing work in this book. With simple and easy to understand language, readers will enjoy this book.  Hats off to the author for the research done and the knowledge shared with us through this book. Rating: 4.5/5

Candy Sky Tells A Lie

Image
Candy Sky Tells A Lie by Shanna P Lowe My Thoughts: Shanna Lowe has written a heart warming, funny story that will stay in the reader's head for a long time.  The center of the story is a teenager Candice who is good at lying. To cover her earlier lies, she lied more. Candy's lie put her into a troublesome situation when her English teacher Mrs Gulligan was determined to teach her a lesson.  Candice received the curse from her teacher. According to the curse, her lies will turn true. Now, the Cursed World is new to Candy and things went into her favor initially but it won't be the case forever. Candy has to bear the consequences of her deeds. The curse by Mrs Gulligan made Candice happy. Will it also become the reason for her sadness? The pace of the story is fast and I wasn't bored anytime while reading this book. I highly recommend it. With strong and smooth narration, I read this book in a flow without putting it down. Rating : 5/5

Father Green

Image
BOOK REVIEW: FATHER GREEN I love reading poetry books a lot. Recently I came across the poetry book FATHER GREEN written by author Caleb Green.  As a debut poet or author, Caleb Green has done fantastic work in this book. The main plotline of the poetry book is that a guy loves the Father. His love is pure and he doesn't do anything wrong intentionally. He only wants to be accepted, loved by the Father.  The naive boy is ready to wait till infinity for the love he desires. He is on his hands and knees asking for forgiveness from the man he is trying to please. The boy tells himself to take his responsibility. Will he receive the love he is looking for or will he learn a lesson for life?  Even though this is a poetry book, it tells the story nicely. Each poem is written in words that one could follow easily. I am impressed by the writing style of the author. Cover photo and the title of the book is suitable. Don't miss to read this poetry book if you are an adult. R...

Tenacious

BOOK: Tenacious AUTHOR: Caleb Thornton REVIEW: Qotd: Do you love reading short stories? If your answer is yes, then you should pick Tenacious. It is a short story penned by the author Caleb Thornton. When Matthew joined high school, he didn't have a very good start. His crush Carter Mitchell choked him half to death, knocked his books out of his hands, etc. Matthew never bothered anyone but still Carter and his friends were mean to him. Love is a strange emotion. Even if our crush mistreats us, we forgive him/her so quickly. Same was done by Matthew. When Carter invited him to his home, Matthew went to Carter's home even though just a while ago, he was treated so badly by Carter. Will Carter treat Matthew right? Will he return his love? The storyline is interesting. I was curious to know what will happen at the end. This short story could be finished in a single sitting since it is written in less than 50 pages. I had a great time reading it. I am sure you would also enjoy read...

Boo Who?

Image
Boo Who? By Teressa Hill Rating 10/10 Review: 'The Wildly Whimsical Tales of Gracie and Sniggles: Boo Who?' is a wonderful book to read. It is the first book that I have read written by Teressa Hill.  This book takes young readers on a magical adventure. A little girl Gracie and her dog Sniggles are important characters in this story. Another character of importance is the fearful little ghost Boo Montague. He stays at the Hocus Pocus Pumpkin Patch.  When Gracie went to Hocus Pocus to pick the perfect Pumpkin for Halloween, Boo thought about scaring Gracie. But the story becomes interesting when we see the ghost getting scared himself.  This is a fun-filled story. Children who love Halloween, adventures, parties, etc should get their hands on this book. Author has used a simple language in the book. Illustrations are damn pretty and the story more lively. It would be amazing to have more books in this series.
