When Matthew joined high school, he didn't have a very good start. His crush Carter Mitchell choked him half to death, knocked his books out of his hands, etc. Matthew never bothered anyone but still Carter and his friends were mean to him. Love is a strange emotion. Even if our crush mistreats us, we forgive him/her so quickly. Same was done by Matthew. When Carter invited him to his home, Matthew went to Carter's home even though just a while ago, he was treated so badly by Carter. Will Carter treat Matthew right? Will he return his love? The storyline is interesting. I was curious to know what will happen at the end. This short story could be finished in a single sitting since it is written in less than 50 pages.
